Currently working as a web analyst for Tipsport and as a lecturer at the University of Economics, Prague, he also worked for Dobrý web for a long time. Pavel is a real expert on the evaluation of website efficiency from the perspective of web analytics. He’s a blogger and a lecturer and he also provides trainings.
You’ll try practical procedures for using data from Google Analytics in the R statistical program without any theoretical speeches on statistics. In the workshop, I’ll introduce to you the R program and show you frequently used methods for analyzing data. You’ll be able to test all of this directly on your own data. Together we’ll discuss if you can stay calm when orders drop by 30% or if a 1.35% conversion ratio campaign is really better than a campaign with a 1.1% conversion ratio. We’ll examine time series in order to understand seasonality in sales and website traffic, and we’ll use it to estimate how much you can sell this Christmas.
You’ll appreciate the workshop if you regularly use data from Google Analytics and have some experience with creating your own reports. If you work with orders or queries from the website, you’ll find the practical examples tailored to your needs. You’ll need a laptop (Win, Mac, and Linux) with the R and Rstudio programs installed.
